I’m Jan Eric Euler — a German-based photographer and DP with a love for wild places and the human stories that unfold within them.
My work lives at the intersection of reportage soul and high-end commercial execution. For me, the two are inseparable: I use the technical precision of a high-stakes production to protect the space where real, spontaneous magic happens. I’m drawn to human connection, the intensity of the outdoors, and the beautiful, honest flaws that make a moment feel alive.
I spend my free time running, hiking, biking, and climbing. This constant movement is where I find my clarity. Being physically pushed in nature allows me to quiet the noise and truly absorb the human emotions around me in life, giving me the perspective needed to translate those feelings into a cinematic visual language.
With over a decade of experience, I’ve learned that the best results come from being over-prepared so we can afford to be spontaneous on set. I’m a firm believer in working hard, laughing a lot (usually with a healthy dose of sarcasm), and giving everything to ensure the final result carries a genuine emotional punch.
